Lethamhill is situated in the town of Helensburgh, 22 miles north of Glasgow and 6 miles west of Loch Lomond. We are a thirty minute drive from Glasgow Airport, and 40 minutes by train from GlasgowQueen Street Station, from which trains leave every half-hour. There is also a daily service from Glasgow Central station to Helensburgh Upper station. Helensburgh is the birthplace of John Logie Baird, the inventor of television.

Dryesdale Guesthouse was built in 1892* and is a former manse to the 'North Parish Church' which was a short 10 minute walk to No. 14 Love St. The church was open for worship in 1888 and closed in1982; it has since been demolished. The first occupants of the house were church ministers: the Rev. James B.D. Young lived in the manse until around 1924 and was followed by Rev. J.R. Merry from 1925 until 1952. Rev. Merry is remembered by many of the local elders.

Inverkip has it's own rail station which has direct links to Glasgow Central Station and you can be in the city centre in less than 45 minutes.
