About the Business

Lethamhill is situated in the town of Helensburgh, 22 miles north of Glasgow and 6 miles west of Loch Lomond. We are a thirty minute drive from Glasgow Airport, and 40 minutes by train from Glasgow Queen Street Station, from which trains leave every half-hour. There is also a daily service from Glasgow Central station to Helensburgh Upper station. Helensburgh is the birthplace of John Logie Baird, the inventor of television. We are close to Hillhouse, Charles Rennie Mackintosh's finest domestic creation, which is now owned by the National Trust and is open to the public.

More of Mackintosh's work can be seen in Glasgow including the Willow Tearooms on Sauchiehall Street and the Art School on Garnet Hill. From Helensburgh Pier take a boat trip on the Waverley - the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Take a boat trip from the banks of Loch Lomond over to the Island of Inchmurrin.
