About the Business
Fascadail offers superb Bed and Breakfast accommodation within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Visitors to Loch Lomond choose Arrochar for its stunning views and central location only 40 minutes from Glasgow. As well as a base to explore Loch Lomond Fascadail is a perfect base for touring, with Inveraray, Loch Katrine and the Trossachs, Oban, Stirling and Glen Coe all within about an hour's drive or less.
Fascadail House was built in the mid-19th century around 170 years ago. It is set in its own grounds, enjoying superb loch and mountain views, including the craggy Ben Arthur (The Cobbler). Loch Lomond is steeped in history with many walks of varying difficulty including Munro's and cycling routes close by.
To try and help maintain this wonderful environment we are part of the Green Tourism Business scheme. We have been awarded a taste our best by Visit Scotland for our use of local Scottish produce on our breakfast menu.
