Dunkery Lodge is accessed from Townsend road through a gated gravel drive. The entrance to the house has one step up and a few metres from car parking across level compacted gravel. Doorways are 760mm wide and lead into a spacious lobby with hard wood flooring. Our dining-room (partially carpeted) is on the same level with doorways of 760mm.

Townsend, our ground floor double bedroom, has doorways 720mm wide and the floor is carpeted. It has an En-suite bathroom with tiled floor, a bath with grab rails and a shower with thermostatic valve. A bath seat is also available. This room has its own front door making it easily accessible from car parking and very useful for guests travelling with a dog.
