About the Business
Built in the early 19th century, Camera House still retains many of it's natural Victorian features. Established as a Guest House in the 1960s it was named 'Camera' Guest House as an acknowledgement to the many photographers and journalist who found the house a safe haven and made it their base at the height of The Troubles. Situated in leafy suburbia between the well-known Lisburn Road and the Malone Road Camera House is a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Guests have easy access to all the happening events in the city and surrounding area.
The Lisburn Road is know the world over for a great shopping experience with a host of upmarket boutiques, arts and antiques, and beauty and hair. Shopping done its time to eat! The Lisburn Road offers something for everyone, from cafes to fine dining and everything in between. Camera House is a few minutes' walk to the City Hospital and 5 minutes by car to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
