Formally the village school, Muncaster Country Guest House is now a four star guest house full of character and charm. Owners Sue & Vin invite you to enjoy the relaxing and informal home from home atmosphere and offer you a friendly welcome whether your stay is short or long, for business or pleasure.
All our rooms are en-suite and are situated on the ground floor. Rooms are well equipped with flat screen televisions with Freesat, hairdryers and hospitality trays. The guest lounge with comfy sofas, log burning stove and 'honesty bar' provides a welcoming place to sit after a long days sight-seeing or walking on the fells. There is also a selection of books and maps which guests are welcome to borrow during their stay. Free Wifi access is available in the guest lounge and in most bedrooms.
Top quality food is a priority and most ingredients are sourced locally for our substantial cooked breakfasts.
