About the Business
Golf Links House is a family run guest house and award winning restaurant situated in the picturesque seaside town of Newcastle, County Down. We have been providing that ‘home from home' atmosphere since 1977, to both local visitors and holidaymakers from as far afield as Australia and USA. We are located 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of Newcastle where the stunning Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea. Our premises overlooks the globally renowned Royal County Down golf course, which has played host to the likes of Tiger Woods, Bill Clinton, Michael Douglas and Jack Nicklaus to name but a few.
We are delighted to have been recently awarded ‘Excellent Accommodation Experience' at the NI Tourism Awards, in addition to finishing runner up in the ‘Restaurant of the Year' category. In addition to these prestigious accolades, we were also recently awarded the esteemed ‘Taste of Ulster' accreditation.
