The house suffered bomb damage during the second world war, but was lovingly restored, leaving the flooring with a quirky "ship at sea" feeling. There are five separate sets of self catering selfcontained accommodation, all with their own unique charm and appeal. All our guest quarters are rather different from the usual B&B, and the ability to cook in ‘at home' to avoid the expense and hassle of eating out every day is a bonus.
St. James's Guest House offers guests a warm and welcoming atmosphere in safe surroundings, in a typically spacious London Victorian house built in 1880's, which has retained many of its originalfeatures. The Guest House is situated in a quiet residential street in the heart of Brockley's Conservation Area. It's an ideal location for visitors to Central London, on business, pleasure and touring at affordable prices for Central London.
