A few of the local attractions include The world of Beatrix Potter in Bowness, Hill Top in Sawrey - Beatrix Potter's House, The Steamboat Museum, Hole Hird Gardens, Orrest Head Viewing Point, Dove Cottage in Grasmere, Wordsworths House, Go Ape in The Grizedale forest, and of course last but by no means the least, Lake Windermere itself.
