The Gate House is a privately run guest house, adjacent to The Forest Gate Inn. It is situated on the edge of Epping Forest on Bell Common, just over ½ mile to Epping town centre and 1 milefrom Epping Station [40 minutes to central London]. It is ideally situated for walkers with facilities to dry wet gear, and well centred for visiting Cambridge, Audley End and other places of interest. The house is totally No Smoking as well as having a full fire alarm system in place.
Rigsby's is a beautiful period grade ll listed prominent building, built circa 1750. It features in many old photos of Hertfords streets and was of some importance within the town's history. In recenttimes 25 St Andrew Street has been both commercial and residential. The previous owners lived in the house for many years prior to which it was an antique shop. In 2003 we purchased the property which subsequently underwent fairly extensive restoration to its current state.
