About the Business
Kate and Elly have been keeping bees at a local apiary for the past five years, and there is usually some of our award-winning East Oxford honey in the dining room. We also have a Congo African Grey parrot called Oscar, who was rehomed with us through the parrot welfare charity Birdline. While he is not a fan of visitors you can usually hear his whistles, sirens, miaows and telephone rings from the dining room.
We try to reduce Acorn's impact on the environment. All household waste is sorted for recycling and teabags, banana skins and the like are composted for use in the garden.
